Accreditations ensure all businesses are working to the same code of practice, and therefore completing work to the highest standards. Accreditations show customers that a business completes work to a certain standard, follows thorough codes of practice, and ensures that those hiring an accredited business will receive a good quality of workmanship in line with the relevant accreditations.

At Des Holdings, we recognise that our customers need to work with a regulated and safe contractor, so have many respected accreditations including:

CHAS – (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is a type of accreditation that proves a business’s health and safety processes meet excellent standards. This proves DES not only completes work efficiently and time effectively, but we also make sure it’s being done in a safe and sensible manner in line with regulation.

SMAS Worksafe – Short for Safety Management Advisory Services: a nationally recognised Health & Safety accreditation used to demonstrate your business’ Health & Safety standards, giving all our contractors confidence when it comes to our competence.

ISO 9001 – Defined as the International Standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

NDTG – The National Demolition Training Group is the leading training provider of specialist demolition training courses and pioneers of the industry-acclaimed CCDO Card Scheme. By being part of this group, we are able to provide effective and efficient training to all of our demolition contractors to make sure they are the best at what they do.

Constructionline – A procurement and contracting website that represents only the best of the business in order to carry out projects.

SSIP – Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) is the mutual recognition scheme for occupational health and safety standards particularly within construction, it is widely accepted as an industry standard.
